The Research Training Group is lead by twelve principal investigators and are supported by one scientific and one administrative coordinator. In the course of the research training group (RTG) more than 30 fellows and associate fellows will be educated. Selected guest-professors will organize dedicated workshops especially for the fellows of the RTG. The full RTG is organized by one spokesperson, one deputy spokesperson as well as the steering and the selection committee.

The administrative coordinator, Heike Haag, is responsible for all administrative aspects of the graduate school, in particular the hiring procedure of new fellows, the support of guest scientists and new fellows arriving in Mainz as well as the organization of workshops and summer schools.
The scientific coordinator, Pepe Gülker, is responsible for the scientific aspects of the training program, focussing on the fellow-experiments at the MAMI accelerator as well as the scientific program of the workshops.
